The Saga of Zen Micro

I had an incident Monday with my beloved Zen Micro. I won't go into details but it is no longer functioning. That pains me to no end, however I have picked up a backup Siren 512MB player. Price was right. Works fine but still not the same as the Zen Micro.

Ten business days is a long time to wait for turnaround.

Cracked 400 miles - Flamingo within reach

I've gone past 400 miles and slowly working towards the Flamingo point. Three undetermined intermediate levels until them. Can I stand on one foot like a Flamingo? Perhaps.

Up to Eagle

I've been bad I know, but I am making awesome progress on the FL trek! I've gone past Peanut and am now on the Bald Eagle hunt!

Introducing...

Peanut! Though I have only one mile to reach the Tortie level (probably will achieve this tonight), I thought it best to introduce Peanut. Peanut's furr Mom works with me in our IS department. Here's Peanut!

Boring posts.

Don't know why these are so boring. I need to make them *exciting*. What can I say cholesterol level down about 50 points and I've dropped close to 25 pounds since starting this trek. I guess that IS exciting!

Asia done...

Now onto Tortie! That was so quick. Now, I'm onto a 'slowcoach' level, the Tortie level. Tortie is a UK based tortoise, sort of a sister to Zoey. I'm at 351 miles, after today's walk. Here she is:

Starting tonight..

and for the next 6 Wednesdays, I'm taking a Rock climbing class at Gainesville Rock Gym. Should be a hoot and some nice 'mileage' to my total! I'm taking it with Asia and Maxie's 'human' mom.
